First check the radiator, fan clutch, water pump, and thermostat for proper operation.  this condition is also sometimes caused by an exhaust leak near the manifold, letting hot air into the intake.

Just a late thought, might check for exhaust leaks at or near the headers, at a stop the underhood would fill with hot exhaust, finding its way into the intake causing a heat problem that would only exist when not moving.

1996 acura tl 3.2 overheats and no heat in car\

Have you recently changed your engine coolant? Have you checked your engine coolant? If you just changed the coolant you probably have an air lock in the system and it needs bleed out. To do this i would need to know more info about the vehicle. Another possibility you could have a coolant leak, IE the water pump, radiator hose, heater hose leak. with low coolant the radiator can't do its job and cool the engine. You could also have a broken water pump impeller. No impeller no engine coolant flow threw the engine and heater core.

1997 acura tl 3.2 heater gets cold at a stop..then the engine overheats..get back to 20MPH & everything is back to being ok

I'd guess you have a low coolant level, or an air lock in the system. At idle there is not sufficient flow for the heater to work (nor to cool the engine), but at speed you get better flow. Check the level, and bleed the system if necessary. I hope this helps you.

Car overheating

if ur antifreeze keeps showing low or none , there is a leak in the system. check for leaks in the radiator or in the colling systems piping.

96 acura tl 3.2l is overheating+signals wont work

Start with the easy one (hopefully). You probably have to replace your turn signal flasher. It's located behind the dash, driver side of steering column in the relay block (just pull out to remove).
Your overheating problem: Are you losing coolant, or is the car just running hot? Any leaks, puddles?
Check the cooling fans to make sure they are kicking on as the engine temp rises. If not, you may have a bad switch that is not telling the fan to go on. If fan(s) are operating ok, check the thermostat. If it isn't opening properly, it could be the cause of the overheating. If you have a leak in the system, then when it gets too low, it starts to overheat. Many possibilities, So, let me know the answers to the above so I can help further if needed.
