92 dodge dakota not getting fire to coil

If it is not cranking, then you have to work on the
starting system first

Cranking is the motor turning over

What about fuel pressure with & without the regulator
hose connected?

How about a worn out ignition switch ?

The engine turning over & the engine cranking is the same thing,
are you not aware of that

You have a no start condition, failed fuel pump I would think

92 dodge dakota 5.2 4x4 won't stay running, hard

What fault codes do you have? to check for fault codes using the check engine light blink method do the following, turn the key to run and then off, then to run and then off, then to run and watch the check engine light, count the blinks, there will be a pause and then more blinks, that is the code(s) So lets say it blinks 2 times and then 5 times, that is code 25. Google the code or codes under the heading: "Dodge OBD1 fault codes"

Dodge Dakota doesn't start on first attempt. Seems like fuel takes a while to get up to engine. Once started it runs fine. When it sits for 10-15 minutes, I need to crank engine, wait 1 sec, then crank...

Is the pressure in the fuel system not holding? Fuel pump may be failing or the filter may be bad. Sounds like you're pumping the fuel system back up to pressure before the truck will start. Like when a fuel-injected car runs outta gas and you have to prime the system before it'll start again.

Initially starts fine, runs fine, then stalls at the first stop.

This is a fuel pump issue. i would replace it and the lines as well.also, a minor tune up wouldn't hurt as well. wires plugs distributor cap points etc...

92 dodge dakota v6 runs then shuts off

35 says idle switch motor, 41 alternator field circuit open or shorted.
For all the time it takes, I would remove idle air control motor, on side of throttle body, clean it all up, and spray good in port you remove it from , with throttle body cleaner, and retry it, and see if it makes any difference.Inspect & Spray connections with contact cleaner too.

95 dakota dies when warmed up

yes it can but you may have a coolant temp sensor acting up which causes the computer to open the injectors to much which can also cause this 02 sensor code. when it stalls do u have spark and fuel pressure.
