This sounds like a earth problem. Have your earth connections cleaned and checked. You may need to replace your rear light bulb holders.

It sounds like the Belt Tensioner is not Holding the Belt Tight Enough. If the Belt is not Tight enough it will Not allow the Alternator to Charge the Battery and will Cause the Problem Stated Above. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

SOURCE: 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier, service light came on

I would check the voltage at the battery while the engine is running. If over 15 volts , your voltage regulator is shot , and your headlights cooked.

If that is problem , alternator will have to be replaced.

1996 Chevy S10 LED headlights flickering

There are a few possible reasons why the LED headlights on your 1996 Chevy S10 might be flickering:
  1. The LED bulbs might be incompatible with your vehicle's electrical system. If the LED bulbs are not specifically designed for use in your S10, they may not work properly and could cause flickering.
  2. There might be a problem with the vehicle's electrical system. If the electrical system is not providing a stable power supply to the headlights, they may flicker.
  3. The LED bulbs might be defective. If the bulbs are flickering even when they are not in use, they may be faulty and need to be replaced.
To fix the flickering problem, you will need to diagnose the root cause. Start by checking to make sure that the LED bulbs are compatible with your S10. If they are, try replacing them with a different set of LED bulbs to see if this fixes the issue. If the problem persists, you may need to have your vehicle's electrical system checked by a mechanic.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

THE LIGHTS IN OUR UPSTAIRS BATH HAVE STARTED TO SLOWLY FLICKER DIM AND BRIGHT, DIM AND BRIGHT.

Replace your breaker in the breaker box, and I wouldn't use these lights till its fixed. Kill the lights, kick the breaker to the off position This is the first thing that happens before an electrical house fire.

My headlights on my 94 dakota work fine for a while on brights, but then just the headlights start flashing/flickering. Parking lights and brake lights are fine. It will also flash/flicker in dim lights...

I just had this problem. There was a screw loose on the hi-beam switch. You have to take off the plastic cover on the steering column to get to it. Really simple to fix yourself (5 minutes tops). 4 screws and the turn of a small wrench. Free if you do it yourself, $600 if you take it to the dealer.

2000 Infiniti I30 Headlight Problem

Hi:
You most likely have an intermittent stalk mounted switch on your steering column. The same turn signal lever lets you flash your brights, also can make your lights flicker and act up if its bad, so It would be a good place to start looking for the problem.

No spark

I assume you have already tested the (secondary ignition circuit) Locate your coil. Using a test light check for power at the small wires going to the coil, (primary circuit) Key on you should have a bright light, (battery power) I use a needle to insert into the back of the plug for this. Then check for power on the negative side of the primary coil wiring. (same plug) you should also have a bright light. Have someone crank the engine over and the light should flicker. If it doesn't flicker then you either have a broken timing chain so the distributer isn't spinning (Lift the cap and make sure the distributer is spinning.) or control problems. A spark igniter or wiring, or as a last resort ecm. If it does flicker then your coil is dead or coil wire is no good.

Dash lights flicker

you most likely have a bad ground wire or a loose connection.  These are usually not easy to find and will take some hunting under the dash and the fuse box to repair.  Good luck
