SOURCE: 1996 Chevy Blazer check engine light on

More then likely its the Canister Purge Solenoid. you can find it online at www.autozone.com the part number is PV140. And to replace it on blazer you have to remove the spare tire. Alot of people don't know where this part is so I hope this helps you and good luck.

SOURCE: 2005 mazda 3 2.3l that is burning oil (no leaks)

possibly the pcv but check if your cars exhaust smoke is blueish or white in color if it does and your car doesnt have an oil leak then sure its burning engine oil along with fuel, the piston rings is defective, since you replaced engine oil the additive that the owner has put with the oil to prevent blowby is gone thats why it starts burning oil.....

Is it possible to get oil and water mixed in the radiator from a bad intake gasket?

pb310, Yes, it is possible to have this condition with a bad intake gasket, however the problem usually shows up in the oil pan and not the radiator. Because of the differences in pressure that these fluids experience, oil can get into the cooling system when the engine is running because the oil pressure is greater than that of the coolant pressure. When you shut the engine off the pressure is still in the cooling system and the coolant will seep into the oil galleries and eventually into the oil pan. All of this is possible when the intake gasket is faulty. Check the oil dipstick and see if the oil looks like (for lack of a better term) a chocolate milkshake. Either way, it sounds like you need to have the intake gasket replaced. Good luck with this.

My vechicle's oil pressure gauge goes down when I slow my vechicle down. and then the check gauges light comes on.

First of all, with the information provided, you need to check to see if you have any oil in the engine. If the "dipstick" shows that you do, you will need to take the vehicle in to a mechanic to have the engine looked at to see if you have a faulty oil pump, or if the engine is damaged internally. If the oil level is low on the "dipstick" all you have to do is top off the oil, and then look for the oil leak.

My low oil pressure light has been coming on when I stop at a signal or stop sign, but than goes off when I start driving, I just had my oil changed a week ago

It sounds like your engine is low on oil. When you get home, turn your engine off, wait 5 minutes, the pull the dipstick and wipe it clean and re-insert fully, then pull the dipstick out again and look at the end of it; you will see the recommended level etched into the dipstick, if the oil level shows low (and it's a good bet it will), you need to add oil...and never use that shop again.

If the level is normal, the oil pressure sender may be faulty...ask your mechanic to check it and replace it if necessary.

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty with a 6 cyl. and the coolant continues to get low but I cannot find a leak anywhere.

It may be your head gasket is bad. This would allow coolant into the combustion chamber and/or oil pan. A couple ways to determine this: check the oil level, if it is too high, you may be getting coolant in it, also, the oil on the dipstick or when drained has a 'milky' white-ish look to it. Check the exhaust after the car warms up, do you see white exhaust smoke? This also indicates the head gasket is bad.

Hi, Oil Symbol in Mitsubishi Magna

one of two possibilities: the engine is low on oil, if it has a low oil level sensor. have you checked the oil level on the dipstick? or the engine oil pressure is very low. a tech can do a manual check of the oil pressure. if the oil pressure is low, you have internal engine problems such as worn main bearings or hopefully just the oil pump needs to be replaced.

Shooting oil out of dipstick

Your engine breather system is blocked....this means that the only way that the compression caused on ignition that is getting past the piston rings and into the block can escape is via the dipstick tube.
Check breather for kinks and some have filters ensure that these are not blocked

Oil pressure

sounds like your just low on oil. check the level of oil on the dipstick and make sure its within specifications. if your low, add oil untill it is at the full mark on the dipstick.
