SOURCE: 1999 jeep wrangler no reverse

i would say your reverse gear is locking up on you and that you need to get it to a transmission shop before you break the gear off trying to back it up,,it will mess up the other gears

SOURCE: 2004 Jeep Wrangler - Clunking Noise when shifting out of Park

It could be lash in the differential which is normal, but it could also be a loose u-joint in the driveshaft. Check the rear driveshaft u-joints.

SOURCE: it won't switch gears out of park...automatic transmission

Have some one move the shift lever and you watch the linkage under the car to see if the lever is moving on the transmission. Sounds like the linkage is lose. Tighten the bolt on the linkage and you will off and running again.

Rain water leak will pond on either passenger or driver side depends on how its parked. was told to tape off cowl vent that didn't work. this happens when parked its on a 2006 jeep wrangler golden

Rainwater body leaks can be a nightmare to locate and I have many times needed to remove seats and carpets and lay inside with a flashlight while an assistant played a hose on various parts of the outside...

You could be luckier.
Water usually doesn't run uphill but a leak can travel quite a distance along body seams or behind trim or under carpets before manifesting in a pool - often a significant pool of water in a footwell can amount to only a couple of drips each minute and not a flood so patience is needed...

Apart from such obvious sources as sunroof drains, roof aerial attachment, failing windscreen bonding, one of the most common causes is blocked heater air intake drains. Much of my time servicing vehicles has been spent removing dead leaves from the heater intakes before they cause trouble...

Good luck!

2006 jeep wrangler automatic transmission drifts in park

I can't imagine how the drifting in park and the starter won't crank the engine could be related.
It is possible something happened to the flywheel and it is not now connected to the crankshaft, or the bendix gear on the starter is not engaging the flywheel.
But the transmission has a pawl or gear that locks the output shaft of the transmission when the shifter is in park. That gear could be damaged and would allow the truck to roll in park.
And the parking gear would not have anything to do with the starter issue.
I think I would check to see if the flywheel is connected to the crankshaft first.
Is the truck still under warranty ??

My 2006 aveo is a automatic with anti-theft system and my key is sticking in the ignition. Im wandering until i get it replaced can i removed the fuse for the anit-theft and still use my car? I have to...

My comment is about the anti theft. Our 06 cobalt was having problems with anti theft with my wife key. My key worked fine. Try another key cheep fix if it works. If another key is made have it made from manufacturer key at dealer. Make a new key from your key you may duplicate the issue.

Any problems if i disconnect speedometer cable 2006 jeep G C

Okay, being a 2005, you probably dont have a speedometer cable. Instead, the speed is indicated on the dash by a wheel speed sensor that sends a signal to the computer that in turn is translated and then sent to the speedometer on your dash.

If you disconnect it, it will cause issues as the computer needs that signal to determine such things as when to shift the transmission (if its an automatic). So it could potentially cause several issues.
