Not necessarily catalytic convertor. this happened on mine recently and it just needed a coil replacing. Costs about £87 at a Renault garage if this is the case

I am a retired mechanic. The hose is at the bottom corner of the radiator but before you carry out this task you should get more information. There is a correct way to fill and bleed the cooling system and if you don’t do it right your engine could overheat. Buy or borrow an owner’s manual or use google. Trapped air is released via bleed points.

didnt know 1998 had an inertia reset switch

has a fuel pump relay

cant be sure but looks like the tank has to come out to fit a petrol pump

Renault grand modus 2009. After servicing how do I reset the service due mileage?
The only way i know is to conect the car to a dianostic computer at a garage and ask the garage to re-set it. If you find an other way please let me know.
