Hi Emanuel
your polo seems to have a problem with the diesel pressure sensor,
I am sure when it loose it's power you see the check engine light on.
it should be connected to a diagnostic machine, you'll see that I am right.
good luck
music to my ears,YOU take your car to a VW dealer to get it on the diagnosic machine,THEN you take it to your favourite mech to work on it.the diagnostic computer only gives codes,it dont tell you whats wrong,so get a written report done.i am a fully qualified tech and i get my own done this way,as its cheaper.........(mickey mouse diagnostic computers only give codes NOT itemised faults)
Vw ABS codes are dealer specific, and are not accessable with consumer scanners. One of the brilliant inovations in the new VWs. It keeps you connected to the dealer. I know a lot of ways around VW's tricks, but not this one.
thank you very much dowlingsmari
