I own a Scorpio 2.6 crde 2006 model. the problem with my car is that it runs for about 5km and then stops if accelerated high. On idle the RPM goes upto 2500 to 3000 max when accelerated after that the engine check light comes and turns down the engine. the car is being stuck with various mechanics since 15 days nobody yet is able to troubleshoot the problem. Things that were done already since the day first. 1) ecm check done and ecm works fine as they have put an other ecmto identify the issue. so no ecm issue and ecm work fine. 2) Wiring of the car has been checked no shot to ground or other problem has been identified thus wiring is also said to be ok. 3) Coming to sensor all the sensors have been checked like rail sensor air filter sensor etc.. everything is said to be ok. 4) Diesel tank was removed as they found some water in the diesel filter. the whole diesel tank was cleaned including the filter in the tank. the whole pipeline was thoroughly checked. injectors were serviced and are said to be fine. Bosch pump have been serviced which is fine as well. fuel pump has been replaced. Even after doing all this the car still has the same problem. it runs for a while and then stops automatically when accelerated high. same on negotiating slopes. the engine turns down giving the check light. I have already spent a lot of money troubleshooting the problem but no results yet
