Had the same overheating issue with mine @ 213,000 miles. I had had the fluid changed out by the dealer and the system flushed at 105,000. . . This time I did it myself, $ 142.00 for 2 gallons of cvt tran fluid from dealer, gasket & new filter from Summit racing (23.00). . . ****** take 7.50 qts. once drained ! Cur runs great now !

SOURCE: need instuctions to change tail/break lights on 07 dodge caliber

popohead, if people thought it was easy, they wouldn't be here asking. Your reply is useless.

To remove the pins, look a them closely. Notice that there's two little notches cut into the cup that holds the pin. Use a flathead on each side to leveredge them out a little. If that doesn't work at all, you can use a pair of pliers to firmly grip the head of the pin and pull straight out. Quick firm pull.

Once the first pin comes out, the second pin should easily come out. At that point, firmly grip your taillight housing, and pull straight back: Don't try to wiggle it out, and don't try to lift it to one side or the other like a trunk or door. Just pull it firmly straight back like you would a dresser drawer.

Once it's out, the little wiring harnesses come out of the taillight housing with about a 1/4 turn, and the bulbs just slide straight out of those.

Good luck!

SOURCE: 2007 dodge caliber breaks

They're telling you the truth, if they inspected your brakes and didn't find anything wrong, it is normal. I've seen this before...it's annoying, but normal--nature of the beast, brakes=friction=noise. Make sure you get a copy of the service invoice from your dealership that denotes that you brought it in and they inspected the brakes and didn't find anything wrong...it may be beneficial for you to keep these records. The warranty on your brakes is 12 months/12,000 miles -- NOT 36/36 like the rest of your factory warranty.

SOURCE: 2007 dodge caliber transmission light is on

Hello
You'll notice what appears to be a dipstick tube at the front of the vehicle on the drivers side, and it should have a warning label to use CVT oil. But when you remove the top, there's no stick. The dipstick itself is a "special tool" (Miller No. 9336). The stick is marked for fluid levels for different temperatures, although there is an acceptable range.
Read the instructions carefuly that come with the tool
Thank you!

I would work on the cause and cure of overheating problem first. Over heating would cause transmission to run hot as well being how fluid is cooled through radiator.
