Heater fan motor works itermitanly

If the engine is running hot you may be low on coolant. Check this first. If coolant level ok, the rad fan may not be working to cool the engine. If the AC is operational, when you turn it on, the radiator fan should come on telling you the fan motor is ok. You still may have an issue with a fan control related to temperature. This can be caused by a fan relay/wiring/temp sensor/ecm. Make sure the thermostat is functioning properly as well

The main reason for a resistor to go bad is because the blower is pulling too many amps to work. Check your blower motor.

FAN NOT WORKING

It can be issue with faulty motor or its faulty fan control relay.

Bother are to be inspected.

Test volt at fan relay and fan motor.

Could be a faulty motor or ground circuit.
You would need to check the power and ground circuit at the motor when it won't run.

Check the pan moter for power

check fuse and relay.if all is good.check blower motor to see if its getting power if so motor dont run. replace motor.if not.and fuse and relay is good.problem could be the control switch or loose broken wire at control switch.

is this wiper-heater fan - if motor is working assuming this is heater/ac fan motor --have switch tested

does it work in the highest setting if it does then the resisters have gone bad if not check the fuse and relay for it if they are good then more than likely the blowwer motor has gone bad. If yyou need to change out the blower moter it is located behind the Glove box, Just remove the glove box insert to get easiest access

if the motor does't work at all then it's probably the motor,if the resister is gone you should still have high,it does'nt go through the resister.you may have a bad ground to the resister,you may need a relay.

Check or have checked the blower motor resistor. This is usually how they act.
