Passanger side window won't go down all the way

The window only goes down about a third, and then stops. Anyway to fix it without paying for it?

There may be a child safety device on the latch side of the door you can see when door is opened, which prevents the window from going all the way down. Open the door, and check somewhere near the part that holds the door closed. See if there is a slide lever or button you have to operate to get the window to go all the way down. This is common on many vechicles.

Rear passanger side window won't go up or down

Window regulator most likely but before changing it out take the door panel off and apply current to the contacts of the actualy regulator. If the window goes up then switch the contacts and now it will go down. If nothing then regulator (window motor) is bad. If it works then your master control switch for all the windows is going bad.

2000 ford f250 passanger side window wont go up

Check the wires on the driver's door between the door and the post. A break in a wire will affect the passenger side.

My passanger side window won't go down all the other windows work a year ago i replaced both window switches

You may have a broken track. You need to take the door apart and have a look behind the inside door handles.

You may have a broken wire that goes to the door from the main body. Take a look at the area where the hinges are. You will see a rubber boot. In that boot are wires that go to your door. One of them may be broke.

Even though you have new switches it is possible that on of them has gone bad and may need to be replaced again.

Good Luck

There is no power to window switch is ok but won;nt roll down driver side or passanger side need to no how to get driver side window down antil i get fixed

Remove the door panel, and use two jumper wires to the window motor. One wire goes to a good, non-painted surface on the metal body of the van, for a good ground. The other wire goes to a 12 volt source. Touch the two wires of the window motor with the two jumper wires.

Tries to go up? Switch the jumper wires around, and try again.
