You have 2 converters on that vehicle (front and rear). The 02 sensor in front of the FRONT converter is directly in front of the converter. The other sensor is behind the FIRST converter.

SOURCE: My 2003 Forester driver side window wont work.

You need power window regulator as the cable of the regulator is out its place ,

  1. Remove the gusset cover.
  2. Pull up the inner door handle cover toward you to remove the upper hook. Pull down it to remove the lower hook. Remove the inner door handle cover.
  3. Remove the power window switch assembly.
  4. Using a trim panel remover, remove the clips of the trim panel.
  5. Remove the speaker.
  6. Using a spatula, remove the door sealer.
  7. Remove the outer mirror assembly.
  8. Remove the front end of the door weatherstrip and gusset.
  9. Remove the stabilizers.
  10. Remove the rear end of the door weatherstrip (inner and outer).
  11. Operate the power windows switch so the bolts from the regular assembly are visible through the service holes. Remove the mounting nuts.
  12. Take out the door glass. CAUTIONDo not turn the regulator in closing direction after removal of the glass. Otherwise gear may be disengaged.
  13. Loosen the nuts to remove the rear sash.
  14. Disconnect the power window motor wiring harness.
  15. Loosen the four bolts and two nuts to pull out the regulator assembly.
  16. Remove the screws to remove the motor from the regulator assembly.
  17. Installation is the reverse order of removal.0759a6d.jpg23cb1e4.jpg

2006 Subaru Forester. AC always runs properly cool except once or twice a day when air turns warm for about 1-2 minutes. Then back to normal.

IT may be that there is ice forming on the evaporator in the car. This prevents the ac from working as the thermostat setting is affected and the ac shuts down until the ice clears and the thermostat gets a new reading. Check that the ac evaporator core fins are clean and free of gunk build up. Some times you may be a clink sound as the ice breaks away and falls into the ac box

2001 subaru forester. overheat problems. changed head gaskets, water pump kit (comes with all pulleys and new belt.

make sure the pump it turning. Also be sure your thermostat is not isntalled upside down. That happens you know. Check the waterlevel on your car. be sure your fan is kicking on as the engine heats up. There should be a temp sensor to make it turn on. I think this model has a heaater bypass too to check on which runs the heater around the engine to let it heat up faster.. might check that too. I would check on the backward thermostat forst though.

Subaru 2003 cigarette lighter overheats when not in use. Whole panel surrounding the lighter get s very hot. And even though the aircon and fan is switched off, hot air blows in.

investigate or get it investigated, because this could quite easily set fire to your car. i would seriously consider disconnecting it until problem sorted. unplug the whole unit and make sure no live wire/s are bare. hope this helps

2003 subaru forester makes noise when airconditioner comes on. Is it the fan belt

What kind of sound? If it squeals then the fan belt needs tightening or replacing.
If the sound is the engine increasing in speed when the compressor engages then that's normal.
