The "+" sign indicates positive, it usually has a red cover over it. without looking at the battery I can't tell you which side it is on. The Positive cable is usually Red and the Negative is usually Black.

If you are referring to the battery, generally the cables are color coded red for positive and black for negative. If they are not colored, The battery is marked at the terminals near where the cables bolt on with a plus ( + ) sign for positive and a minus sign ( - ) for negative......Mike
on the charger you have a black and red cable,, the red goes to the positive side of the battery marked with a + sign, and the black to the negative side, marked with a - sign
Hello: You need to change battery. On the end where it attaches to your key ring you will see a slot. Take a penny insert into the slot it that will cause the two halves to split, the battery is inside. Before you remove the battery note the position it is in when installed. on the battery on one side there is a + (plus) sign. On the other side is a - minus sign. The number (size) of the battery is also stamped on the battery. Replace with the same size battery, it does not have to be by the same manufacturer. When removing and installing new battery be very careful not to touch any of the electronics or damage the parts that hold the battery. make sure all is lined up snap back together and you are good to go.

The battery cable in your car with the most stuff attached to it is the positive. Usually covered with a plastic cap so nothing will short against it. The starter is in the rear of the engine,bolted on the drivers side.the positive cable will take you to it or the fuse box.iIt may be in the front of the engine,the positive cable that does'nt go to the starter should tell you the differance.Follow the cable from the positive post that does'nt go to the engine compartment fuse box and it will take you there.
