Of course it will since the vehicle is not new. You have semi worn suspension parts that need replacing if the big huge wheels are a must.
the large tires have more grip to the road than the standard tires thus causing worst fuel economy and wear...
plus these wheels and tires will cause premature wear on all suspension parts as well. than the standard size thet where on it. The more friction on the pavement will cause more wear

I have a 2001 GMC Sierra. My truck has the shakes when I hit the brakes. I have put brand new rotors on the front and it still does it. Can the rotors on the back cause the shakes as well? The brake pads...

That is usually caused by warped rotor discs. I know you said you just put on new ones, but has anyone put new tires or removed and replaced wheels on your truck. I have seen in the past, when they overtightin the lug nuts it warps the rotors.

All mechanics I have seen installing wheels have over torqued them.

I have a 96 GMC Sierra Z71 and it shakes on and off like your going over multiple speed humps. What can cause this?

It could be several different things. If it does it only when applying the brakes I would say that your brakes rotors and drums need to be turned on a brake lathe. Other things to check are the tires either being out of balance or damaged. You may have a bent or damaged wheel. Check your front CV joints and axles. Check front wheel bearings. Check for slack in your pitman and idler arms. Check the ujoints and carrier bearing on your rear driveline.

to eliminate the wheel area youll need to have a place where they balance the tire on the truck.and if it still shakes transmission is questionable
