Sounds like a faulty, IAC valve (idle air control) which controls your idle under load etc. Normally mounted on side of throttle body.Fairly simple for technician to test with ohmmeter to confirm before replacing. If your familiar with ohmmeter, get back to me and I'll guide you through test, otherwise shouldn't cost much for mechanic to test.

as you describe your problem .it sounds like a classic low battery/bad connection problem. since you have replaced the battery ,did you clean the battery terminals?follow your positive cable to the starter solenoid check that all connections are tight , you might try loosening and re-tightening .

Engine runnig rough, check engine lighy on, when
A solid light can mean anything from a loose/faulty gas cap to a transmission issue. The flashing light means your engine is misfiring and this can cause serious damage to the engine. A misfire can be caused by anything from a bad spark plug, to a bad fuel supply.
This
light comes on when the computer detects a
fault of some sort in its diagnostic tests. If it keeps detecting this
issue, the light will remain on. If the light turns off, then it has
detected that the issue may no longer be present.
In
order to find out what the exact reason was for your light, You need to
have your car computer scanned to retrieve the code that
the computer would have stored when the light triggered. Most garages
will do this free of charge. The code will tell you what may have
caused the light to initially turn on. Until you get this code, it's
impossible to determine what parts need to be checked or replaced.
Miss firing on #8 cylinder and I've changed the
Check the HT lead and dizzy cap / coil plug .
If these checkout ok then do a compression test if that checks out OK get the injector checked.
I live in New Zealand and have never seen one of these cars but most problems of this nature are normally one of 3 things .
1/ Compression
2/ Fuel
3/ Spark
Check the lead for little greyish marks (this is a sign of arcing) do the same for the connection the lead plugs into.
A compression test will show if a valve is sticking or burnt.(if it is lower than the other cylinders then you may have a major repair on your hands.
A faulty Injector will also cause a missfire.
I hope this helps

Back window will not raise up
Most likely. We had a Lincoln Aviator do the same thing. Luckily we had longer warranty on Lincoln. But went to shop with both drivers side windows inoperable at same time. For us it was the motors.
#8 cylender is miss firing
Check inside the end of the lead where it goes on the plug if it,s blackish it,s probably burned open circuit alternativly , if you have a multimeter set the range to ohms x 1000eg high resistance and check all the leads end to end for a reading the one that does not read is the culprit .hope this helps .Regards Stefan.
My glove compartment light won't go off.
There should be a button somewhere around or next to the glove box latch that acts as a switch to turn the light off, when you close the glove box it pushes the button in, it sounds like the button is stuck.
