It will require a puller,some auto part stores will loan it to you for a fee untill you return it.

sorry no solution but you will have to take the car back to the dealer for re-programming .its encrypted software making it a dealer only job

A mechanic would check the speed sensor in the transmission.

You would need to treat it like a no start issue when it stops running.Check for spark at the plugs and fuel pressure at the injectors. Could be the EEC relay or other electrical component.
