seems to be caused by bad caps on the router mainboard

I didn't specify your platform but if it's a digital copy your best bet is to contact Bethesda customer service and get a refund or replacement if it's a CD then it's just too scratched if none of these then it's your console or game platform. Sorry hope I helped.

If you mean the 2.4Ghz Vs. 5Ghz, The 5Ghz is a shorter range system compared to the 2.4Ghz. Reason is that the higher frequency signal is effected more by objects in it's path. Also higher frequencies have a shorter range just due to it's shorter wavelength. Hope this helps.
