Hello, I have a problem

Somewhere on the computer is the access code to re-install and activate XP from Microsoft, if it was still available. But it's not. Do you really want to buy XP again? Or pay for newer software on an 11 y/o PC? Recommend you put that money into upgrade. New or used.

Sometime after installing some cd

There are about three things that might have happened. They're all mentioned at the following link: https://neosmart.net/wiki/hal-dll-missing-corrupt/ Any Windows CD of the exact same Windows version can be used if you decide to try that route. You're really just looking to repair Boot.ini or hal.dll

How to you back up files on cisnet computer if system is not operating

CMOS settings could be set at fault so go check bios settings by tapping f8 or del or F2 .choose either cd or hd 0 as first start up or reset to default then press f10 to save and restart.if it still causes problems it could be boot sector of hard drive or a loose cable .its down to some detective work.if it's not a hardware issue I.e. Corrupt bad sectored drive , faulty cables ...then it has to be software issues. Sometimes if you leave memory card in a slot or you may have left a disc in one of your drives.this can sometimes be the cause if none of the above then something is corrupting startup which means boot sector root kit problems

I own a C ISNET CI-3003X and it has a red light

It could be a defective or dirty video card. But in the some cases, where built-in graphics is used (no video card, built-in to motherboard) it is the memory (RAM) that is causing the problem. Try removing your video card (if you have any) or memory from the board. Video card removal instructions: http://bit.ly/1m0jwb3 Memory removal instructions: http://bit.ly/1s5svYr Clean the pins (gold contacts) with a rubber pencil eraser. Install the memory or the video card back to the board & power-on. If this doesn't work, replace the defective unit. You may also try cleaning the internals of the computer using a non-static brush & a can of compressed air.

I cant use the screen saver and i updated my computer to the windows 7stater and i need a video card that is 3D campatible

Nvidia have 3d campatible ones, also if you cant use your screen saver that most likely means you cant use windows aero, so you might just need the graphics driver.

Product key 25 microsoft

Which operating system ??? If you are trying to recover a key of an already installed program on your computer there are freeware keyfinders on the internet http://download.cnet.com/%7Bvalue=http://www.download.com/magical-jelly-bean-keyfinder/3000-18487_4-10079600.html The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install windows from your registry. It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file, or print it for safekeeping. Serial keys Location Lift up your computer and look for a tag. The tag will probably be located on the side of the computer, or on the bottom of the unit for a laptop. The service tag is generally a large black and white tag and it will say "Service Tag Number." Do not confuse this tag with the Windows tag, which may be located in the same area on the computer. or Restore My Product Key Product key glitches can occur as a result of operating system file changes and random errors, leaving you with constant re-registration reminders even where you have already entered a valid key for a particular product. The quickest fix is to restore your computer using the System Restore feature, which will take your computer's settings back in time to a point before the product key problem first occurred. Open "Start," click "All Programs," open "Accessories," and click the "System Tools" folder. Click on "System Restore" and select the option to "Restore my computer." Click on a restore point from before the product key error first appeared. Press "Next" to begin the automated restore. or Get a New Product Key Having the product key of a software application is essential when installing and activating the software on your computer. Product keys may also be called CD keys, serial numbers or activation codes. If, for some reason, you lose the product key, or it stops functioning, you must get a new product key from the creator of the software. Most software companies work with their customers in resolving product-key issues. For example, Microsoft advises its customers to contact Microsoft Support Services in the event that a product key becomes lost or damaged. Go to the website for the software company. Look for a heading such as "Contact Us," "Customer Service" or "Support." Get the contact information for the company, such as an email address or telephone number. Some companies require that you contact them through a web-based form on the website. Contact the company by phone or email explaining that you have lost your product key or that it is no longer working. Include as much information as you can to help them verify that you are an authentic customer. Include copies of receipts you received (email or physical copies). If you have original packaging from the product, include any relevant bar-code or version numbers. Refer to the name and email address that you used to register the product.

Touchpad Scrolling

The scrolling feature on a laptop touchpad can take some getting used to, which causes some users to disable the feature. Whether scrolling was intentionally turned off or never enabled on the laptop, it can easily be turned on from the "Mouse Properties" menu. Click "Start" (or the Windows logo button in Vista and Windows 7) and select "Control Panel." Select "Classic View" in Vista if not already displayed. Double click "Mouse." You may also access "Mouse Properties" in Vista and Windows 7 by clicking the Windows logo and typing "Mouse" in the search box. Press "Enter," then click "Mouse" when the search is finished. Select the "Hardware" tab. Select the touchpad and click "Properties." Click "Change Settings" if the settings aren't displayed. Click the "Device Settings" tab in Windows 7 and select the touchpad. Click "Settings." Click "Virtual Scrolling" in the touchpad properties window. Click the boxes next to each "Enable Scrolling" box and click "OK." Scrolling is now turned on for your touchpad.
