all routers work the same basic way. you connect a pc using a LAN cable to the router. You open a web browser and type in the IP address of the router. this is usually 192.1681.1 or , but occasionally can be something else. its usually printed on a label stuck to the router. Once you get that right a login screen will appear and you must use the login user/password (admin,admin or admin,password is often used) which should also be printed on the router underside. Then the router will present a menu to you, and somewhere on there will be the wifi setup. they are all slightly different so refer to your manual or just use your common sense.

When you search for available wifi connections, do you find several routers? Other routers could be taking your bandwidth. There is a 802.11 protocol which establishes what channels routers can take, but this can be hacked, If you're in an apartment building, you may have this issue. Connecting by cable will fix it.

I know nothing about this type of router. Try pressing the button on the bottom and rebooting your router. Maybe that will help.

Download a manual for the Zhone 6519 if you don't already have one. (You'll be prompted to set up an account)

Connect router to PC by LAN cable then log in through the web interface. Go to wireless settings - you should be able to locate the wi-fi password, pass-phrase or pre-shared key.
