Do you have the remote? If you do, it should have a quit button for menus like that. The remote is either the MBR3457 or MBR3447. It's on eBay for $10. It is possible that both of them may work for your TV model.

Hi, it sounds like either the eject button on the DVD player drawer has been damaged or the remote is in need of cleaning (I assume the remote to have an eject button too). you can remove the remote by removing a battery and seeing if the problem stops.
Best you remove the tape from the DVD drawer as this will not stop the DVD mechanism from trying to open the tray, bit like trying to constantly push against a locked door - you will cause damage if it hasn't already.

Its fixable. the question is how much of the inside broke with it. cost for repair on that usually averages 45 to 65 dollars... unless tuner is damaged in most cases not. if not hooked to tuner then maybe a new isolation block..simple job Good luck

If you are trying to use the player and switch between DVD and VCR there is usually a button on the front of the player and a matching one on the remote. VCRs are becoming very rare now so most TVs don't have the connectors for them. How old your TV is will control how you do this. Older HD TVs are fitted with a SCART connector, ( a large, chunky, rectangular connector with lots of pin holes), or RCA connectors, (3 round pin connectors coloured red, white and yellow). *Note* Make sure you use the 'OUT' connectors on the VCR and the 'IN' connectors on the TV. Some newer TVs will let you connect through a 'screw in' Satellite/'CABLE TV wire connector.

Plugged it in an all the lights stay on can't push any buttons but the power button took the top off there's no dvd in there and everything looks fine

If you don't have a cable box or satellite receiver, you will use the "Audio Out" or "Monitor Out" from the TV to any audio input on the receiver. It's just a standard RCA cable or if you have an "Optical input" on the receiver, use that. If you are using a cable box or sat, the audio would come from the cable/sat receiver by standard RCA, Optical, or Digital Coaxial, whichever your AV receiver will support. Hope this helps. This will fix change the dvb312 to region free for an individual dvd. Must be repeated each time you want region free.
Insert the different region dvd.
A message will appear on the screen "check region" (or something like that)
On you remote control press the "display" button. Quickly press the number buttons, "1", "2" and "3". It should now let you play the dvd.
It has worked on mine which was bought in 2003. We have watched a ton of region 2 movies. Good luck.

I'm assuming your Disney tapes are store-bought, as opposed to recorded off the air. If that's true, the reason you can't record them to your dvd recorder is because of copy-protection. Sorry...can't advise you how to break that.

well looks like need.... again. How do I change a wick in a zenith lighter -

1) tune the desired station frequency
2) while the frequency is being displayed, quickly press the memo set/clock adjust button.
3) press the desired preset button
4) press the memo set/clock adj button again
5) the station will be stored
