this seems to be an error with the charging system of the scanner. As you stated the error occurs also with other battery. Just check if the scanner is in warranty and send it for repair.
It could work also with this error, but the charging will not work correctly. As the temperature error is safety measure which stops the charging until the status get changed.

The first cause of this issue is due to an incorrect setting in theprinter's driver. The printer has upper and lower transfer rollers that have to be brought up to and maintain a certain temperature for the image-transfer step in printing. The HCB board (halogen control board) reports a 14002 error, it is indicating that it is not able to either reach or maintain the proper temperature. That means one or the other heaters is bad, a sensor is bad, or a power-control component is bad. Regardless of which, this can be address only by servicing the printer. I am unsure if this one is a ribbor printer or a thermal......
if thermal the paper might be too old or the print head is going bad. if ribbon try replacing the ribbon, or you have a bad batch of ribbons.

Stop wasting 2 labels on the zp450 pull-out 13in of labels peel them off reinsert the wax paper back in the printer turn on printer after 13 in the printer will automatically go into register mode and when you turn it on it will not waste 2 labels

1) If you feel your printer is printing only small-sized labels, then you can try changing the font size. 2) If you are printing from a computer, then go to the paper settings that appear in the print preview window. 3) You will see a paper type or a paper settings option available in the window. Since it is a small-sized printer, you will only get prints in small size.
