Unable to remove cd magazine
The reason for this would most likely be that there is a disc stuck in the cd mech that has not returned to the magazine. It could also be a bad gear or belt, in fact there are a variety of things that can cause this. Unless you have some experience with this, I suggest that you take it to a service center. Ask them what they would charge to remove the magazine only and then return it to you. Sometimes they get stuck for odd reasons that may not happen again. If you ask them to just fix the cd changer, you will pay more for the repair if it only requires getting the magazine out to fix it. Then you can put it back in and see if it will work. Try it first with no disc in it, just in case it gets jammed again you will not have a cd in it. If it cycles thru its intialization process and you can still eject the magazine, there is a good chance it will work for you and then try a disc in it.
Many service centers will remove a stuck magazine for just $25 or so, but if you leave it for a repair you will spend much more even if there is nothing more wrong with it. I have been working in this field for nearly 20 years and have worked at 4 different service centers in that time, and every one of them did the same thing.
If the cd changer still doesn't work, take it back and see if they will apply the amount you have paid towards a repair. Believe me, you do not want to start taking these types of equipment apart if you don't need to. You may never get it back together again working right. They can be a real nightmere.
Xtreme sound wms303 cd player..... need a new one?
It sounds like if it only works a day or two and then you disconnect it and re-connect it, and it works again for a day or two, I don't think the problem is how you are connecting it. I think the radio needs to be reset every couple of days. If it has a reset button, just press that and it will at least keep you from disconnecting it and reconnecting it.
This also sounds like it has an internal electronic problem. When you disconnect the radio, it resets the microprocessor. You should have it checked out by a service center, or if you do not want to spend any money on this radio, just get a new one.
Faceplate removal
it is at the top if the faceplate when you push the button to flip it down in the middle top on the back is a big button push it down and slide it off.
Broken power cord
Try contacting the manufacturer sometimes they have replacement parts, however if it is to old of a model they may just have you buy a new one.
No sound
Hi Margie,
I suggest checking the connection between the head unit and the cd changer for starters.
Cheers,

Inline fuse
hello most amps will run 15/20 amp fuse on the main power supply .if it has a remote turn on this will be around 3 amps..i would not go to big as this is your protection if there is a problem.
Wireing harness
you can buy the proper harness for any vehicle at most stereo shops or even some at WalMart, but you have to hook it to the one that plugs into the radio. The colors on each harness will be identical- just match them up.
Cd player
First of all, you aren't going to like this solution because it's the truth. If you rate me poorly, it's because you don't understand the truth.
The optical pickup is bad and needs to be replaced. Anything made by Xtreme sound is poorly built. Yes, you're lucky to have even gotten four months use out of it. I've seen some that only last for two months and they die. Fortunately, that's why you didn't pay that much for it. I would suggest getting a Pioneer in the future.
How do I program the radion station?
The device you listed is a 6 cd changer, it does not hold radio stations.
As for the head unit in your car, you can try tuning in the station and then pressing and holding the location number you want to save it to (1-6).
That works for most of them.
You can add the model name and number to this question if that doesnt work.
Best of Luck.
Remote
this is a chinese product, luck-a-lot, try searching with "autosound","audioextreme","xtremesound",
a few years ago, i've found the homepage, but not today.
No power
My guess is that when you pushed the player into the dash, you pinched a power wire, resulting in a blown fuse. Check the vehicle's fuse box.
Most vehicles have at least two fuses that provide power to the radio, though they may not all be labeled as radio fuses. You may need to check all the fuses in the vehicle, including any fuse box under the hood.
