Ix104c3 fails to start half way through loading xp

hmmm it appears that file maybe missing on the hard drive of the pc and when its restarting like that its encountering a blue screen of ***** because it can not load that system required file now there is a way to fix this but you can expect everything to be placed into the windows.old folder if done right but you will need a second pc to do this First: https://www.fullversionforever.com/windows-xp-black-edition-latest/ download the file here but instead of placing the ISO image onto a USB drive with the program they say to use you can burn this file onto a disk using window's built in tool or IMGburn (built in way: right click on the ISO file and click burn image and this will burn windows XP BE onto a typical 700MB disk (WIN XP BE isnt a normal windows xp version but will be supported by MS up to 2019) plus the install will be like installing XP but just refreshing it long as you dont format the hard drive (EG: do not format during the install setup) Second: install a well good known antivirus such as AVG or Sophos home antivirus

How to restore image by using bootable usb oc dvd

I prefer installing/upgrading the operating system on the ix104c2 with a USB flash drive and the program "WinToFlash" and set the "Hard drive priority" to whatever flash drive you are using as the first boot device in BIOS. I recommend using a USB key board to navigate BIOS and it is required to install the Operating system.

How to add memory to xplore ix104c2

To begin with, the maximum RAM that the Ix104c2 can operate on is 1gb. Secondly, If you have little to no experience working on laptops, then I would suggest having a computer repair business or a friend who has the knowledge of doing so install the RAM. The inside of the ix104c2 is rather complex and upgrades/repairs should not be attempted by a novice.

I upgraded the memory on the xplore ix104c2 - now it says the fan has a problem - I checked all the screws to ensure they are tight - how do I fix this?

To start off with, the maximum RAM that the ix104c2 can operate on is 1gb. And secondly, open the case again and check that you plugged the 3 wire (I believe black, red and yellow) connector is plugged into the mother board in case you accidentally unplugged it when seperating the case halves.

I have a !x104 Xplore

Hi to get this part, and any others for that matter, you MUST contact the manufacturer and ask them for the part, this is the only way as they do not provide off the premises parts or service, accordingly i have included the link below, simply contact them explaining your issue and part required, and they will get back to you with the information as to what to do next.

According to a "review" written in September 2005:

http://www.tabletpc2.com/Review-Xplore%20iX104c2%20Tablet%20PC-0090705.htm

What's in the Box:
  • Xplore iX104C2 Tablet PC
  • Battery
  • Pen & Tether
  • User manual
  • Getting Started guide
  • Cleaning cloth
  • AC adapter & Power cord
  • warranty booklet

So, when "new", there should have been an AC adapter.

There are lots of causes to amnesia and yet, cures are still unknown. If you remember (of course you don't) banging your head in one of the slips you had, slipping again and banging your head may bring back your lost memory...

Where i can download ms.word 20007?

I suggest you download OpenOffice instead. (Unless you need MS Office 2007 to use in a school/college environment, of course. Where everyone is using MS Office 2007, and you are learning about MS Word)

1) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice.

2) Anything generated on a computer with OpenOffice, can be used on a computer with MS Office.

3) There is no learning curve per se.
The userface of OpenOffice is VERY similar to MS Office.
OpenOffice example of Word is Writer.

Information about OpenOffice on Wikipedia,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenOffice

OpenOffice homepage,

http://www.openoffice.org/

Screenshots of OpenOffice programs,

OpenOffice is free.
It's open source software.
I've used it for 2 years now. (I likes it!)
