Warming up, big POP sound and totally stopped working.
Hello- Wow- Sounds like the failure of one of the elements. Sometimes there's a bright arc welding flash with it too. Look inside oven with flash light and inspect elements. If one of them is burned through, then it must be replaced. In some instances, control boards and other circuits can also be affected, but most work just fine when the element is replaced. Please acknowledge this posted solution if helpful. Have more info if needed- thanks- Ed
How do I clean a Wolf gas oven? Can I use
Wolf does not recommend use Easy Off, but this is the best cleaner for oven, just don't spray on it, wear gloves, spray on a rag and apply on to the porcelain surfaces, and other good all around cleaner is called Bar keeper's friend and you can pick it up at Safeway or ACE Hardware. Have fun.

No gas to oven
Hello, even though the igniter is glowing it does not mean it is drawing the correct amps to open the safety valve. If your igniter is glowing orange replace it. Igniters should glow brillient yellow to the point where you cant look at it. replace the igniter and you will be good to go. Good Luck!! Mike

Wolf Double Oven
I had the same problem with a Wolf L-Series double wall oven (Model DO30) and called for service (under extended warranty contract). The tech told me that the F1 error is a latch problem (you know the one that grabs and locks the door during self-clean cycles). He cleared the error using a series of "secret" button presses on the control panel and the problem cleared. Now, when it happens (which isn't very frequently), I do the same thing he did ... press "0" and "Temperature" for the oven causing the problem and hold them for about 5 seconds. The oven will ding and the display will show some diagnostics, including the error event. Press "Cook Time" and "Stop Time" while in this diagnostic mode to clear the error register, then press "Off". I've also tried to keep the area across the top of the oven opening clean (with a little degreaser), especially around the latch, and I've sprayed a bit of WD-40 into the latch periodically for lubrication and cleaning.

Hi can you provide me with instructions how to change my thermostat on a Defy oven serial number - DGS 158 AA 14 11 100288
To change the thermostat on a Defy oven with the serial number DGS 158 AA 14 11 100288, follow these steps:
- Disconnect the power to the oven by unplugging it from the wall outlet or turning off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the oven.
- Remove the screws that secure the back panel of the oven to the frame. The back panel is typically located at the back of the oven, near the bottom.
- Once the back panel is removed, you will be able to access the thermostat. The thermostat is typically located near the top of the oven and is a small, round component with a knob or lever that controls the temperature.
- Disconnect the wires that are connected to the thermostat. There should be two or three wires connected to the thermostat.
- Remove the thermostat from the oven by loosening the mounting screws that secure it to the frame.
- Install the new thermostat by reversing the above steps. Make sure to connect the wires to the correct terminals on the new thermostat.
- Replace the back panel and secure it with the screws that you removed earlier.
- Restore power to the oven by plugging it back into the wall outlet or turning the circuit breaker back on.
- Test the new thermostat to make sure it is working properly.
Note: These instructions are general guidelines and may vary depending on the specific model of your Defy oven. If you are unsure of how to change the thermostat on your oven, it is recommended that you contact a qualified appliance repair technician for assistance.
