Fan symbol - defrost (fan only - does not use thermostat)
Fan symbol within a circle - fan forced oven
3 little triangles - static grill (keep oven door open)
3 triangles above the fan symbol - fan grill (keep door closed)

Hello, I would like to suggest you turn off the fuse to the unit , or simply try to unplug the unit if possible. 15 seconds then plug in or reset the fuse. Good luck hope this helps.

Conventional heating
The symbol for conventional heating is two lines, one at the top and one at the bottom of a square. The lines represent the two heating elements used, one at the top and one at bottom of the oven. Instead of a fan, the heat is diffused by natural convection

One of the relays on the relay control might be faulty, in that case a new board is probably required.
Or the igniter has an issue...Igniters are the number one cause of an oven not turning on. Igniters open the safety valve and heat up to ignite the gas in the burner assembly. It can be tested with a multimeter for continuity and replaced if necessary.

I HAVE A ZANUSSI ZCG7690XN DOUBLE OVEN. THE CLOCK IS NOT WORKING AND I CANT USE THE BOTTOM OVEN EVEN THOUGH THE IGITION IS SOUNDING IT WONT LIGHT. I CAN STILL LIGHT THE TOP OVEN AND THE RINGS FINE. PLEASE CAN YOU HELP. AWAIT IN HOPE. REGARDS MO

This happens when power is lost
SETTING THE TIME OF DAY

When the power is first connected ( or after a power failure), the clock display will



flash 00.00.

To set the clock, press buttons 1 and 2 and hold them down.


Press buttons 5 or 6 - +until the correct time of day is



displayed.

Release the buttons. The clock is now set.



Please note that the clock has a 24 hour display.



For example 3.00 PM will be displayed as 15.00

Have the same diplomat the numbers have come off to . I have mine on twenty to if you was looking at a clock and it's about 180 . Half past is 160 . Right to top 220 .
