Dilute the soap you use by 1/3 . this won't affect the soaps ability to clean, but it makes it easier on the dispenser.

There is a trouble shooting document behind the kick panel at the bottom of the machine. Follow the steps to determine which component is at fault. However corrosion may be causing this:
My whirlpool dishwasher gold GU2475XTVQ0 had rapid blinking lights that started with the "4 Hour Delay" LED and changed to others when other buttons were pressed. The machine would not run. I followed the instructions located behind the kick panel and verified the keypad was the issue and not the control circuit by elimination.
The big surprise for me was that when I used a straight pin to resistance check all of the buttons, they checked out OK. I reconnected the 14 pin connector (P1) to the control and found that the buttons/LEDs were behaving correctly! I believe that pushing the straight pin into the 14 pin connector removed any corrosion in the 10 year old device and permitted the keypad to communicate with the control again.
I reassembled the dishwasher door and it ran with no problems. I was ready to replace the keypad for $150, but didn't have to!

one of the first things I'd check is the wash arm. Food particles can get trapped in the tiny holes in the wash arm. If your dishes are coming out dirty, the wash arm might be clogged. To unclog the lower wash arm, remove the wash arm and dislodge any debris from the holes. You'll have to take the rack out to get to it. Usually a screw or bolt head in the center of the arm that comes out so you can take the arm out and thoroughly clean it. One easy process of elimination to start with.
Cheers

You may have power, however if a circuit board fails, all the power in the world won't start the washer. You need a technician to test the circuit for internal damage.

Many DWs empty into the Garbage Disposer not directly into a sewer line. So be sure to run the disposer first.

Then is there a back flush issue with the disposer draining into the DW? Should be easy to know with a few tests.

The pump is most likely bad. If the dishwasher has some years on it, repairing might not be economical. Get some estimates, that will help with the decision to repair or replace.

If the garbage disposal is clogged, the water from the dishwasher cannot drain. Most of the time the dishwasher drain hose is connected into the garbage disposal. Check to be sure water flows freely into the garbage disposal. You should hear it running into the bottom of the disposal when the dishwasher drains. The line connects to the garbage disposal at the top of the disposal with a hose clamp. If you undo it take the hose off and make sure the punch out inside the disposal tube is all the way punched out and there are no restrictions in their..ie stuck food particles or something else. Unplug the disposal when working on it. Just to be safe.
Hope this helps.

Dirty Filter/Pump. The power to spin the arms is usually related to the water pump for the dishwasher, but if the filter and pump are clogged, they won't put out enough pressure to operate the machine properly.

start be resetting the circuit beaker in the basement. It might need a reset you can tell if it is because it will be slightly out of position from the other ones in line above and below it. once you flip it from off to back on see if the unit works.

than get back to us

Allow it to dry by leaving the door open. Moisture equals mildew

You reversed the black and white wires on what? Don't ever do that. One is the line and one is common. They are polarized for a reason.
Immediately stop using that outlet before you burn your house down. Switch the breaker off to that power circuit, then have a qualified electrician check it out.

Hi there... Try the simple things first. Quite often Fridges and dishwashers (with flat front seals) will start to leak if the body of the unit is distorted. This frequently happens if the supporting feet are not adjusted properly when setting up the unit in the first place. After a while the cabinet will begin to 'sink' in one corner which distorts the flatness of the whole front of the frame, allowing leaks. Try cranking up the foot nearest the leaking seal and see if it makes the leak better or worse. If worse, then crank up the opposite foot. Good luck.
