The thermocouple which senses the flame has probably failed or it could be a poor pilot flame (Dirty or partially blocked injector) Get a licensed gas Tech to service it if this hasn't been done previously.

replace the float valve in the water tray
evaporate coolers work by pumping water onto a screen through which air is blown
the hot air evaporates the water in the screen and the air out is cooler
works very well in hot dry climates but not so well when the humidity is above 80%

Could be simple as collapsed ducting, blocked return air filters, broken ducts, loose fan belt ( if belt driven unit)

Probably needs burner pot cleaned out, common thing to do.
Its a 40 series oil heater, only had single knob, air adjust is automatically set by internal controls.

The igniter may be bad and needs replacing.

Obviously a direct short. Take pic, remove all wires, replace fuse. Wire by wire, turning power back on each time until fuse pops. When it does, there's your problem.

Not designed to run on diesal, it will run dirty, be hard to light, require cleaning more often, definitely not recomended and not give good result.
