Our vulcan wall heater when trying to start when we release the button the flame goes out.

The thermocouple which senses the flame has probably failed or it could be a poor pilot flame (Dirty or partially blocked injector) Get a licensed gas Tech to service it if this hasn't been done previously.

I have a Vulcan heater, that has been working fine. The pilot light went out. I have managed to get it working again. But now the heater will not light up. When I turn the knob for some heat, nothing happens. Please can you help?

check and test thermocouple

Vulcan silhouette wall heater trips house electrical safety switch after starting for only a few minutes.

My old vulcan inbuilt gas furnace now has to be run at max fan and gas to get it to heat - can you suggest what might be the problem and how to fix?? Thanks JH

Does it have good air flow? Air Filter not clogged, fan spins full speed? Lack of air flow, volume, can trip on overheating firebox.

We have a Vulcan 80 EC0 central heating unit. Can you please advise where replacement remote control units can be sourced ??? Hamilton New Zealand.

vulcan products are part of the email or electrolux manufacturing chain Same company that has simpson, chef, westinghouse, hoover
so I would suggest that you ring the authorized service center spares and ask where they can get you one

I have a Vulcan c-x gas model 901. My pilot is on but fan fails to start when required. I can hear the 'click' when solenoid is triggered but no fan. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I've just purchased a farm house with a Vulcan Bonaire evaporative cooler installed. My problem is that it leaves our tiled floors very wet, which is very slippery and dangerous.

replace the float valve in the water tray
evaporate coolers work by pumping water onto a screen through which air is blown
the hot air evaporates the water in the screen and the air out is cooler
works very well in hot dry climates but not so well when the humidity is above 80%

Mum's Vulcan oil heater was serviced.Filter changed. Always hasn't burned all the way to the ends it's standard 1 control knob. Is there a oil/air mix adjustment. Can't find online manual anywhere.

Probably needs burner pot cleaned out, common thing to do.
Its a 40 series oil heater, only had single knob, air adjust is automatically set by internal controls.

Bonaire Vulcan controller cct board 10 amp fuse keeps blowing

Obviously a direct short. Take pic, remove all wires, replace fuse. Wire by wire, turning power back on each time until fuse pops. When it does, there's your problem.

Could be simple as collapsed ducting, blocked return air filters, broken ducts, loose fan belt ( if belt driven unit)

gas is not in the diy domain so get in an accredited gas fitter to do the repair

Not designed to run on diesal, it will run dirty, be hard to light, require cleaning more often, definitely not recomended and not give good result.
