Use a special lens pen or the soft brush on the other side of a lens pen, when you think the lens is dirty. Spots, or disk, also can appear when light is entering the lens from an angle. Even the expensive Fuji X10, had orbs or disks on the pictures in certain situations. Like dark with one or a few sharp lights close bye. Try the camera in different situations, to make sure the phenomena is in the camera or just a strange rare occasion. When it is caused by a defect in the camera, it should show on every picture.

Please be sure you did put the batteries in correct. Only one the wrong way around, could stop the camera from working correct. Never try to shoot a picture or make a video, when the camera is connected to the computer. It then will act as a external memory to the computer and will not shoot any picture.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Load the software that came with the camera, the camera driver is missing.
