This is a earlier marvel built unit. Co voltage to valve then look at the control . Ck your serial break. Cheaper to call marvel for part as Viking and marvel parted ways in 2010. Current units built by Scotsman . Viking range just purchased u line and that will be down the road for UC built products . Fyi
Viking 42" built-in units usually don't offer any door adjustments. If one of the doors are not closing well, check for obstructions blocking the door bins, worn door gasket, and possible door warp-age on the panel ready models. Viking did have top hinge recalls updating to the new "Cobra" hinge on many of their models which can be verified by calling viking and providing your full model/serial numbers. If your Fridge door is lower than the freezer door you most likely have a worn door closer located on the lower hinge of the fridge door, the closer is a 2 piece plastic interlocking/mating unit which wears down over time from friction. USE A SPIRIT LEVEL ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE UNIT FIRST,IT IS POSSIBLY THE FLOOR THAT IS NOT LEVEL.........USE SPACERS UNDER THE FEET......factory build them square.....
Check with your Viking rep. I have the same problem and got word from Viking they are coming up with a new hinge doorstop at different angles. It will come in a form of a kit. The one I'm getting is about 100 degree opening. The problem I had was the door was hitting and adjacent electric oven from Viking. It just swung too wide.
I've maker arm above bucket . 2005, thr bucket can overfill that unless the shelf is in place. There is a new ice maker and arm assy which will help that in the future . Hope this helps
sandra, not being sarcastic but why keep the fridge open for ten minutes? It can cause other problems too. Try not to keep the fridge open for long after bulb change and see if it works. Good luck.
