Devant tv using vga splitter dual

Using a VGA splitter to connect a laptop to a Devant TV can work, but it's important to note a few things: 1. **VGA Splitter Compatibility:** Ensure that the VGA splitter you're using supports the resolution and frequency of both your laptop and the Devant TV. Some cheaper splitters might not support higher resolutions, resulting in a lower quality display. 2. **Connection Setup:** Connect the VGA output from your laptop to the input of the VGA splitter. Then connect the two outputs of the splitter to the VGA inputs on the Devant TV. 3. **Settings on Laptop:** On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Displays. Ensure that the display settings are configured to extend or mirror the display to the external monitor (TV). You might need to detect displays or choose the appropriate resolution settings here. 4. **TV Input Source:** On your Devant TV, select the correct input source where you've connected the VGA cable. 5. **Signal Quality:** Be aware that using a VGA splitter might degrade the signal slightly, potentially impacting the quality of the display on both screens. Remember that VGA is an analog signal and may not deliver the highest quality resolution compared to more modern digital standards like HDMI. If both your laptop and TV have HDMI ports, using an HDMI cable might result in a better quality connection.

Flatron L1718S goes blank after a second on

It might be a loose cable. But this can occur if the resolution is set too high for the monitor. If you connect the machine to a full HD TV, you then might be able to change the resolution. The monitor might only do 720p.

What kind of DVI cable is needed to connect to a SOYO DYLM1988 monitor DVI input with Laptop HDMI output?

You don't say from what to what? Questions like this need 'make model (what it is)' for both items. However DVI is normally a Computer Monitor and there is only one type of cable. When you connect, the monitor see the computer as the source. Sometimes you need to go to the computer Display Settings and select DVI.

Issues with "No Signal Input Check Video Cable" on old monitor

Hanns G HW191D max reso note useless for super common 1080P resol. mon2-undefined-undefined-0.jpg the PC if smarter would scan the old monitor and set to top of my list and work. VESA DDC2B<< Plug and Pray. that hanns was sold at vga only and vga/dvi if yours is 2 ports see page 14 in your manual HW191D: Select the ?INPUT SETTING? option to change between analog (VGA) or Digital (DVI) source. Enter the option and select Analog or Digital. [Dual input mode optional the PC (secret) in the BIOS has rule on onboard video ports and PCI-express cards how they work most today are fixed at auto selection. (video, but...) so if PCI card is there it wins every time and local VGA goes dead in the olden days 2000 , we had to set it there to what we wanted. my wild guess: 1: desktop has video card 2:laptop you forgot to RTM and pust the FN+xx kes. that FN key, well show,( vga, LCD local , auto , both) see how that works, RTM read the secret PC manaul. some PCs (desk) can have 2 vga jacks ,1 card, and main on case) the card always wins

White display on my monitor even if I have not connected a VGA cable

Issues that could bring up the white screen problem on your computer can include a bad video graphics card or the graphics card is bad. Or blown capacitors or the video card is not working. Try and reboot your computer first to see if the problem goes away.

Possible, vga port disable from bios? i have vaio laptop model pcg-61411w, the lcd was broken, i would like to use external monitor but no display on the monitor. only in the broken lcd.

Be sure you are booting with the external monitor attached. Some laptops will not automatically switch to an external monitor if it is connected after the laptop is running. After it is running, you will need to pres a function key to switch.

I have no picture on monitor it power light and it was working now I have nothing it is vga cable it was working great

Hi there, 1st thing to try is check that the cable is connected properly at both ends. 2nd check cable for any damage/defects if options 1 has not worked. 3rd, try another cable if you have one. If none of these have worked, then issue is with the monitor itself most likely, you may need to replace it. Also just check your display settings on your pc. You also test another monitor if you have one to rule out any issue with the vga cable. Hope this helps.
