The battery in question so bad it wouldn't even register on the charger unit to any degree. I know this makes no sense, and kinda negates the whole point of even having a battery charger to begin with, but I learned of the battery it's attached to is too bad it won't even allow you to do ANYTHING with it.

When charging the jump starter , should the switch be on or off .

if you can get your hands on a volt meter attach the meter to the charger clamps, red to red and black to black, turn the volt meter to DC volts (20V scale on most) and turn on the charger. You should be reading at least 12V.

If you put a meter across the battery posts, set to dc volts, while it is charging, it should read about 13.5 volts.

Look at the connection hole for the charging; they sell universal chargers everywhere (frys best buy online). These chargers come with a variety of sizes. Match it up and you're done

Well if the unit is charged, connect negative to negative and positive to positive and set the unit to "On".

Should only take a brief moment if it's taking longer, you probably have other problems going on.

just plug into a power source then hook the black cable the the - post and the red one to the + and turn it on

Contact the manufacturer.

Could be a starter relay or the starter itself, or it could be the neutral safety switch not set where it should be.

You can purchase an adjustable adaptor that can match the input you need for your charger. Input requirements should be listed on the input area on the unit-Hope this helps-Denny

I HAVE A NEW SUCH PRO UNIT WHEN I WENT TO USE THE CHARGER THAT CAME WITH IT IT WILL NOT WORK CAN I GET ANOTHER CHARGE UNIT SEN T TO ME ??

there seems to be that some thing is clogged up, Check the pumps liquid line and see if it is clogged up in any way

the veines pump can be faulty. You need to open the compresor and repair. Test the oil if use, or leaking aire by the hose, or clamp faulty too.God bless you

Most likely that is the issue.

Yes you can replace the batteries but that is the bulk of the cost of the unit. For probably just another 20 bucks you can get a new one. Worth checking into but all you have to do is take it apart and grab the batteries inside. Batteries Plus will carry them and in most cased you can get them from auto parts stores.
