I did this..you need to take it to the store where you got it and they can unlock it for you.

HI If you are asking for pin contact your service provider , he will give you a default pin .

If you try pin more than few predefined no of times your phone will ask PUK code which can also be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number . Do not try PUK(new pin code) code many times or else your sim will be blocked and you will need a new sim.

Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no.
Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you.
There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider can give it nobody else in this world nor any software.

you should try the up and down button on the left side of the phone. try turing that up. if tht doesnt work, try to go into your settings and check under the sounds

Try calling your number using a different phone, if it rings, answer the call & see if you have audio. If that's the case, the problem is a bad LCD & needs replacement.

if you cannot contact ur number, it means that the software is messed up. Go to a local repair shop or the manufacturer fir details in repairing the phone

lol i did the same thing, and mine didnt work anymore so i just broke the p.o.s.. i opened it up and theres something that has to hit a certain post and you may have knocked that off place and or there is also a ribbon wire that may have become destroyed or damaged from a partial cut and or rip. sorry buddy. ure sol

Either you have a bad charger, bad battery, or the charging port on the phone is bad.

1. Try a different charger. (Like your car charger instead of your home charger. Or your buddies charger) If one works and one doesn't, you found your problem chargers do go bad.

2. If this wasn't your problem. Next I'd buy another battery - usually you can get one for less than $10 online. If the new one works, woohoo problem solved toss the bad battery.

3. If the new battery does the same thing, its the phone. If it's verizon and less than 12 months old, call them - its probably under 1 yr warranty they might replace it free - as long as the white sticker near the battery is still white (water detection is pink/red). And it's not crushed or dented/damaged.

It's a problem with the cpu. It cannot switch over to battery power after the charger is unplugged. its not a hardware problem. I chased every contact point with a multimeter and it all reads as it should. I re-soldered everything, used a diffrent charger, new battery, erased everything on the phone and it still does it. the only constant is the prosessor in the phone. It's a design flaw that pantech built into the phone.

look closely at the battery. you know those rectangles that are on the top of the battery that connect to the phone? if they have any little marks on them that means that the battery is damaged. it can become damaged from over charging. so only option is to get a new battery. Oh and your problem is that the battery died.just get a new one. hope this helped:)

my phone shut off. and it only comes on when it's on the charger.. and i even got a new battery for it, and it just does the same exact thing's... why is it doing that?

Ronyo, It seems that you have committed the biggest mistake. Forgetting the password is the biggest crime in World Computing. The only way out, I am sorry to say, is to get your phone's firmware reinstalled. Yes, you will loose all data that you wanted to protect. We all tend to forget the password sooner or later. And hence it should not be used at all. Unless you have chosen it such which you will not forget. So, You must reinstall the firmware. I wonder if it is available on the net for your brand. If yes then do it yourself, if not, then head for the nearest service center of your brand. And remember not to use a password in future.

you need to have the adapter to it..so that you can place in pc card reader slot....go to my computer find that drive and format...

note do not connect cell to pc while attempting to format

Sometimes a new battery will fix that and sometimes it will have to be sent in for repair. There is a repair department that can check diagnostics for you. PCD repair 1-800-229-1235 option 1 then 3.

it could be a setting in the display. Go to menu, settings and tools and then display settings. See if the backlight setting is on or if there is a "slide" setting to be changed.

not all cell phones have a sim depends on the service provider.
