hi this is a common problem with all flip and slide phones, what the problem is is that their is a small wafer thin ribbon that goes from the one part of the phone to the other part that moves now over time the little copper wires inside the ribbon ware and break causing the data to not send properly this then gives you the white screen.
Now you can get this repaired and it wont cast that much to repair, the best place for you to goto is a small phone shop you know like a private business and not a big firm, these will often be a lot cheaper as they need the custom.

If you take it to the store where you bought it, they can unlock it for you. I did this....

And your laptop has windows? XP? Vista? Windows 7?

call to ur networks customer care and ask them ur last voicemail calls number... simple

check battery voltage

in order to activate this phone, you must have a ten digit # for it. if you do not have one, just call verizon and they'll fix you up in no time :)

hmm, sounds like you need a software update: have you tried sending it into verizon?.

you should try the up and down button on the left side of the phone. try turing that up. if tht doesnt work, try to go into your settings and check under the sounds

your screen probably died it happened to me had to get new one

Usually it is the last 4 of your phone number. if unsuccessful, try four zeros.
