Exercise bike squeaks

this like any machine needs some maintenance, please tighten screws and oil a little , turn it over and see if something is rubbing.

Flywheel won't engage

either chain is off or drive gear is so dry the dogs wont move, probably chain off.

Re a Tunturi exercise bike- the hvy wheel won't turn. Chain is on the sprockets as they should be. Used to work fine. What's its/ my problem?

I think that the chain is not in the right direction so you should put it in the right place.

How do I access the battery compartment on a Tunturi Ergometer W2

To access the battery compartment, first undo the 4 screws from the underside of the regulating panel. Remove the cover. Turn the panel upside down. Press down while pulling the lid off the battery compartment. Now you can replace the 2 AA batteries. Use care not to damage the insulation on the lead when you replace the panel. This is shown in the manual for the Tunturi Ergometer W2 on page 5. The manual is available on the Tunturi support page: https://www.tunturi.com/en/manuals/ . After clicking the link to Download User Manuals, I used the search function to get just the manuals with W2 in the title. Hi, I have a puch Tunturi W. EE 329847 are the friction pads asbestos free? I got the exercise bike free via a sell site, I didn't realise that because of its age it could have asbestos brakes, tia

Unless it is 40 years old the pads are not Asbestos.

Pedal gear makes snapping noise

need new pedals, they screw off and one if left hand thread and one is right hand thread. or unscrew both over the top to the rear.

I have an older Tunturi and the speedo gauge is very squeaky. Can it be greased?

oil works best, 2 - 5 drops in the top of the cable housing and it will make its way down. don't use more than that just let it work. might actually drip out bottom so might want to put a towel under it.
