its not turning on or what do you mean by its not working

First of all,Ipod is a registered product of Apple Computers Inc.Mp3 player of Any other Brand is best known as PMP(Portable Media Player).If you are using it for the first time you need to charge the battery for at least 12 hours.if the problem persists its better to find a authorized service centre rather posting question on internet.

when i bought the ipod it was working good.The first problem encountered was my windowsxp couldnot able to recognize MTP player (ipod),but there was no problem with listening the songs i.e through ear phones.It was continued for some days.And now i cant able to listen the songs also.when i switch on my ipod it is displaying the transcend name thats it not going to next step.it is like the hang mode. PLZ solve my problem

While the song is playing press and hold down the MENU button. That should take you to the list of songs otherwise you'll get an option for either File Navigator or Playlists. If so, make sure File Navigator is highlighted, press the OK button (centrally located on lower front). In either case, make sure the song you want to delete is highlighted then press the Record button (the one with the dot on it). Use up or down, if Delete is not already highlighted, then press the OK button.

Tips to fix- 1. MP3 and USB Flash drives are recognized as removable disks on the computer. To avoid data loss and firmware damage due to abnormal disconnect, please properly eject your device before removing from the computer. 2. You can press the Reset button for about 3 seconds to restore to its default states. This action WILL not delete any data stored in your MP3. Reconnect your device to the computer or to a power adapter to see if it can be turned on. If the problem still exists, please go to Transcend Download Center (Here) to download the latest version of firmware. Follow the instructions to upgrade your media player. First, download DirectX 9.0 (or later) onto your computer. Next, open the Video file on you computer that you had a problem converting and try playing it, if the Video does not play, then this means that the Video Codec you are trying to convert has a compatibility issue with your PC and cannot be converted using the Transcend Multimedia Converter. Download the .mtv converter s/w from the Transcend site. This is available for MP820. And download any flv to mpg converter software from google. And also you should download the codec for QuickTime and RealPlayer from the corresponding sites. Since without this codecs we can't convert the mpg to mtv format using the MP820 mtv converter. If you already have the mpg files then you can easily convert that files into .mtv format by using the MP820 mtv converter. Hope this helps. Thank you.

T.sonic 850 only supports ".mtv" video files. You must use the "Transcend MTV Video Converter"
Software to convert ".MPEG4," ".DivX," ".AVI" and ".xVID" video files to the ".mtv" format.
This converter software should be on the CD you had together with your device.

This may be due to codecs. You need to install the video codecs to your system.
The video convertor supports most of the video format 3gp, wmp, and more.
But it won't support .flv format.
