You will have to do the initial set up. There should be a disc that came with the router that will guide you through step by step. If you do not have a disk then you will have to get on the internet somewhere else and load the software from the manufactures site.

You should be able to reset the router to factory defaults by holding the reset button (located in the back) down for 15 seconds with power on.

As far as I can see from the TP-Link website this adapter is only for PC computers and does not have a mac driver. Sorry.

You can reset to factory default by pushing and holding the RESET button for 30 seconds or so, release, that will restore the device to the factory default settings.
