How is a sedimentary rock made? what is it made out of?

  1. Sedimentary rocks are formed when sediment is deposited out of air, ice, wind, gravity, or water flows carrying the particles in suspension. This sediment is often formed when weathering and erosion break down a rock into loose material in a source area. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan

Crystal growing kit not dissolving

This is usually caused by using a solution that isn't saturated. The cure is to dissolve more solute into the liquid. Stirring and applying heat can help to get solute into solution. Keep adding solute until you start to see some accumulate at the bottom of your container. Let it settle out of solution, then pour or siphon the solution off, being careful not to pick up undissolved solute. If you don't have any more solute to use, you can take some comfort in knowing that the solution will become more concentrated over time, as evaporation removes some of the solvent. You can speed this process by increasing the temperature where your crystals are growing or by increasing air circulation. Remember, your solution should be loosely covered with a cloth or paper to prevent contamination, not sealed. See this link for detailshttp://chemistry.about.com/cs/growingcrystals/a/aa012804.htm

Get mars mud out of clothes

Use Rubbing Alcohol (70% Isopropyl Alcohol) from the drugstore. It is the easiest way to remove Mars Putty from natural fabrics and hair.Do a spot test first on a non-visible part of fabric to ensure the alcohol will not cause further damage. Liberally pour the rubbing alcohol onto the affected area. The Mars Putty should liquefy and become easily removed with a paper or cloth towel. If your Mars Putty has adhered to a synthetic fabric such as nylon or polyester, Rubbing Alcohol may damage the fabric. Try WD-40 to loosen the Mars Putty and remove it from the surface. If all else fails, take your garment to the dry cleaners and let them know your stain is silicone based.
