I am getting a cooling error on Toshiba NB205
Yes, Disassemble the laptop either yourself, or a have a tech do it. Clean the System out, and also, if needed.. Replace the fan. Toshiba has a spart division. or you can try to find the fan on google. shouldnt be more than 15 bucks.

How do I fix my Toshiba Mini NB305-N600 Netbook?
The easiest way to correct this error is to have the install/restore disk that hopefully came with it and boot off of it and repair your install. This will restore all main system files and should let you back in just like when you first got it.
Computer will only work in safe mode
Hi,
It seems you have a problem with your display driver.
Try this one:
enter safe mode Right click my computer and choose properties to open device manager. Go up and find display adapters and right click it and choose disabled then restart your computer.
Hope this will help you to solve your problem.

Best Antivirus software for my Toshiba NB250?
Hi,
There are very many great antivirus in the market. Therefore determining the best one will be based on your personal preference.
However, there are a few brands that have received patronage by big corporation and as a result enjoy credibility.
Note also that for computers, no matter the brand and type, antiviruses work the same way.
Another note: All antivirus manufacturers, have access to the data in your computer and have the opportunity to use your information to further their business. But they usually assure that you information will not be shared to others but rather it will be protected and every intrusion blocked.
Okay, Try Norton Antivirus. But before you settle for it ensure you do your personal checks as this suggestion is not an endorsement of this product.
Enjoy your Toshiba NB250!

Which keys lock the computer
There isnt a lock per-se. it might be sleeping. Tap the power button, if no response press and hold the power button. (Think toshiba wants aroud 5-7 sec. hold it for 10 just in case) this should shut it down completely.
Hit the power button again to turn it on.

Toshiba nb505 the screen says enter built in
Somehow, the HDD password has been set. Unless you can remember it, you MAY need to replace the HDD to get around this. I have 'bricked' an HDD in the past in this way.
There is a company on the Web that, for a fee, will help you break that password. The fee depends on the size of the drive. However, to get access again, the HDD will have to removed and reinstalled into an empty SATA/IDE port on a 32-bit desktop so their online server can remove the password. Might be easier just replacing the drive...
Windows boot manager failed
Ultrabooks and netbooks do not have integrated CD/DVD drives. They rely on their recovery partitions to restore them in the event of software failure. Most recommend that you backup the hard drive to either and external HDD, Flash Drive, or burn a recovery disk to an external DVD drive when you first acquire them. If the internal hard drive fails or the recovery partition cannot be used to restore the unit, you must use an external DVD drive with recovery media to repair the unit.
