I can't install windows 8 in my lap top
, I'd like to know the current operating system version that is installed on your laptop. Few steps may vary depending on the current OS of your system.
, In order to install the Windows 8 operating system, check if you have enough space on your Lenovo laptop. Your internet connection should also be good for uninterrupted installations. If you are using the Windows 7 OS and want to install the Windows 8 operating system, then proceed with the following steps.
, Firstly, update your UEFI BIOS to the latest version that suits the Windows 8 OS. Restart your device after the updating process. Press the F1 key when the message "To interrupt normal startup, press Enter" is displayed.
, The Thick Pad menu will be displayed where it may prompt to enter the password. Type your password and select the Restart option where your Optimized Default option is to be set to Enabled or the Disable option.
, F9 key will bring the device back to the default option and select Yes. Follow the onscreen instructions, then Start the WINDOWS 8 operating system installation process.
