You should checkl your game disc for scratched or dirt. If there is scratches on your disc, that might be the problem. If you go to your nearest GameStop, there is normally a "disc-fixer" which they can use on your disc, for not that much money. And that will fix your disc, and make it less glitchy/reaable.If that's not the problem, you should try ejecting the disc tray, and blow "downward" into the xbox,, and onto the opotic reader, because if there is dust on the reader, that will make it much more difficult for the xbox to read the discs.

You don't -play- the game from the harddrive, and nor does it make less noise if you install it. When you install a game to your harddrive, it normally makes the game quicker to load, not for older games, I think Homefront is a "newer" game. The benefits of installing the game is that your optical reader is less in use, that the game saves and loads quicklier and is normally better performance in-game.

A "DLC (DownLoadable Content) code" is probably a code you will get when you either pre-ordered the game or when you bought it.If you didn't pre-order the game, there is a much smaller chance of getting a redeemable code, and if you bought it pre-used it will not contain a redeemable code, unless the person who had it before you got the code, but didn't use it (if there is a code, but it won't work, it's probably used)

Check the owner's manual and/or a tutorial in the game, or the start of the game where there normally would be tutorials, and sometimes tiny tutorials through-out the game.

Try deleting and re-downloading the contents that you have downloaded before, that should help if the DLC (DownLoadable Content) is corrupeted, which can happen if you take out the harddrive etc.

When it asks you to continue, It is either the A button, or the Start button, if neither, you should be able to continue somehow by using Kinect.

You have probably downloaded some DLC (DownLoadable Content) and it might have been deleted, so you have to re-download it to continue playing the game.
