I have two Taylor Lithium scales and neither one
The scale may need to be initialized. This process is necessary because the scale was moved during the shipping process. Initializing the scale "re-seats" the internal parts allowing the scale to find the correct "zero." Here is how to initialize your scale:
- Place the scale back on a hard surface floor.
- With one foot only, place just enough weight on the scale for the display shows zero's or dashes. Once you see zeros or dashes remove your foot.
- Wait for the scale to turn off again.
- Step up onto the scale for a weight.
Or, your scale may be on an uneven surface or on carpet. Be sure to place your scale on a hard, flat surface to get an accurate weighing. Are you sure that the place the new battery with the "+" sign up into the battery compartment?
Keep us updated.

I don't have a manual. The readout is in kilos rather than pounds some of the time. How can I get it to read in pounds all the time? Also I replaced the batteries. Are they supose to be both with + up? I have a replacement heart valve so I don't want to know body fat. How do I make sure it is off?
I keep getting err 1
Take it to your nearest service centre. it could be the PCB which is giving problem
My weight is not accurate.
Very few electronic scales are accurate as they are a function of a resistance measured against a voltage. They may be accurate when you buy them, but over time the electronic components decay and read differently as the components are cheap 10% type resistors and capacitors and cannot hold their specific values over time.
If you want accuracy, you will have to get a balance type scale that can be calibrated on site.
My scale showed Lo, no

Sounds like no power. Check for correct battery replacement; may need to verify that your replacement batteyr is still good.
Battery Replacement
1. Use 3 volt CR2032 lithium battery (as installed).
2. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the scale.
3. Remove the old battery from the compartment.
4. Place the new battery with the "+" sign up into the battery compartment.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Tells different wieght each time
Does it tell you a different weight each time you weigh yourself in the same few times? Or day by day?
If its consecutive uses that give you different weights, if you're within 0.2kg, I wouldn't be surprised if the scale can't do better.
Otherwise, weigh yourself each day at the same time, and take an average of 3 weighings for the 'best' weighing.
