I want to access NUMBER inputs from 'switches'

You could program a Teensy USB board to send the numbers. It is a great little device because the computer sees it as a human interface device such as a keyboard so sending a 1 from the Teensy would be the same as from a keyboard and the switches could be wired to the device to accomplish this. http://www.pjrc.com/teensy/index.html

My Ethernet cable test normal but I receive an error message that says unable to connect, what does it mean?

Hi Matt, The issue seems to be with the ethernet controller, or the DNS / DHCP service of the computer. Try safe mode with networking and see if that works. you may check the antivirus settings and try a different user profile. if this does not help, then call 1-877-805-1027 for expert help.

How d0 i get audio speakers to workj

Assuming the speakers are working, you can test them by plugging them into any other headphone jack, for example your cell phone. Check drivers & etc on computer make sure sound card installed correct. Also verify you are using the correct jack, there may be several for example microphone line in if you have a 5.1 stereo card they may also be ports for the rear speakers.

I have a systmax Accent model# syx-ms-7309 I am needing the board that is located on front panel that has the spk mic and 2 usb ports. Do not know a part # or where to get one.

I don't think these are standard interchangeable parts. Not to say you can't find out there, but they are usually part of the case itself. So you would have to go to the manufacture instead of a regular PC parts storet. Your best bet is eBay or other outlet the sells used units.

I have a systemax syx-ms-7309 ser#106603641 i need to know the specs im having issues keyboard or mouse wont work and monitor yurns on says no signal and no picture but the toer has powe to it but th

Test all power and data leads that attach to your hard drive IDE,SATA

the leads from your (motherboard to your hard drive) make sure they have secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty

if its a 40 pin flat ribbon type it will be the first to fail

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty

even something as small as a faulty electrical fan and its lead can cause you problems

computers need all power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket

if you remove your graphics check the socket to make sure its dust free

restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard try blowing out all of the dust from your keyboard using a fine air blower from an air compressor making VERY sure there is no MOISTURE in the lines. dust causes static which causes lots of problems with a computer and its parts if by now you gan get a screen you might have to uninstall your keyboard restart your computer then reinstall it make sure the lead connection is secure and dust free (if applicable) make sure the usb device is inserted correctly into the Ps2 or usb port (if applicable) click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to keyboards also mouse you might see a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? or red x you will need to update driver right click to update driver if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on itthis will apply to your mouse you might have to uninstall the mouse and its drivers then restart your computer then reinstall the mouse and its drivers click start right click on my computer select properties device manager control scroll to mice and pointing devices you might see a yellow question mark? right update driver click start control panel mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons pointers pointer options and hardware under hardware you have options to troubleshoot also you can select properties under driver you will have the options update driver rollback driver or uninstall in xp in windows 7 click start control panel hardware and sound mouse you will see the same tabs and options as with xp

hope this helps

Computer freezing and stop working after 30 moins

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause you problems

computers need all of the data and electrical current to travel through every working device and to have an end to be able work properly

motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail

check all electrical power input and extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working

also check the Cmos battery and computer RAM modules make sure they are securely seated with no dust built up or in the sockets on some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

check you CPU make sure its securely seated and has thermal grease might be getting to hot

another possible reason could be a memory dump you might be running to many programs at the one time putting to much strain on the CPU central processing unit
