Mixer won't start after mixing dough.
There is a good chance you burned up the electrical Connectors to the motor or you have have blown the FUSE that is located inside the housing. The Motor has a Self Shut Off when it overheats but if you have over taxed the motor more than once, then there is a good change you need to repair/replace it with something that can handle harder work. My sister got a Mix Master the same time I got my Kitchen Aid, My Kitchen Aid is running strong since 2003 and her Mix Master died in 2005 and I bought her a Kitchen Aid. Sorry but I am not fond of the Sunbeam Mixer's.... Quality has gone down hill over the years to keep their prices low.
Beaters will not turn
This will definitely be a problem with the actual beater gearbox unit inside the front and under the top handle of the machine.
I've had my wifes one apart and it was difficult at best to even do that, so my recommendation is to take it back to the shop if it is still in the warranty period.
If not, take it to a small machine mechanic and get a Quote for repair before anything is done as it's quite likely that the repair will cost as much as a new mixer.
Will not mix
if the motor isnt making a noise then it could be the brushes in the motor that are worn.. or it could be the fuze in the plug have you tried a new one in there
Does not come on.

How to disassemble a sunbeam 2370 mixer
To disassemble a sunbeam mixmaster 2370, find four plastic snappers arranged at 1, 5, 7 and 11 o'clock around the front circle of vents. They can be seen with the help of a good flashlight. un-snap them and the top and bottom shells will separate. From there on, it is clips and screws. Good luck!
BEATERS DO NOT SPIN
If the beaters do not turn, the motor must be shot! In that case the problem is bigger.
The beaters touch wont hold in machine
Beaters touching can be dangerous as much as not holding in place. Check if the teeth in the beater and the machine are of the same brand and and construction. Make sure you do not use any other mix and match parts because of danger.
