But on the off chance we can GUESS usefully Your steam generator may be receiving water at an excessive pressure. We've seen this EE error code reported for Happybuy Steam Generators (Amazon): Check the water pressure being delivered to your unit to be sure it's not higher than is permitted by the IO manual or try reducing the supply pressure to 5 psi. Then turn the unit off and drain pressure from the unit. Leave it off for a few minutes or longer. Then return power and water supply - at 5 psi. Dismantling to discover the fault should be fairly straightforward to anyone with handyman skills. Picture isn't very clear but I am guessing there has been a small water leak causing one of the heating element terminal posts to corrode through. It would be a good idea, before starting, to contact the manufacturer or dealer to discover the price and availability of the parts that could be needed - element, seals, gaskets...

Orange discoloration is most often caused by rust or other minerals in the water. Usually, the solution is to have a filter (or more than one) installed in the circuit. God bless your efforts.

I WAS ALSO LOOKING TO SOLVE MY SM-79 WATERLEAKS BUT NO LUCK. WHAT I THINKED IS THE WATER SOLENOID HAS A CRACK AND NEED TO BE REPLACE. SOMEHOW WATER FREEZED WHEN NOBODY WAS LIVING AT HOUSE FOR A WHILE. I HOPE THIS HELP.
