There reasons to why your battery isnt charging, it could be either the battery is old and has become bad or it has low liquid levels in it.

It is not designed for this style application. You can jump start the car with it and use the car to charge the battery. Clean battery posts first and add distilled water to battery if needed.

Not sure what the question is. These units have a sealed gel cell battery that can be replaced (Have done that) and they do fail after several years. You will likely have to open up the case to look inside. The main components will be a circuit board, a 12v power supply, a 12v air pump and a 12v rechargeable battery. It sounds like a loose connection on the air compressor pump. When you turn it on it normally vibrates and is loud. This may be enough to shake loose a wire connection. If so it should be an easy fix to crimp or solder.

You need to open the casing to access th inside components. Remove the screws on the backside, cut any stickers or labels that cover the seam. You will see a 12v voltage converter mounted to the back cover. Test it to ensure it is working properly. Is it putting out the proper voltage? If it is then check the battery to see if it has proper voltage or can hold a charge. These are the two most common problems and can be easily replaced if defective. The circuit board is less common.

Try opening the drain at the bottom all the way and let it run for 20 min or so on a dry day.The check valve it sticking its a self lubercating pistion with teflon powder you are supposted to do this the first time you run it

The Air Comprressor has rubber seals inside that do eventually go bad. Since the pump seal is broken or weakened the air cannot be compressed

Good for jumping the car start, may be haardeous to charge the battery.

It's has a bad battery if this us happenings

I would suspect that the internal battery has reached the end of its life. Surely there is a green light to indicate when it is charged?

something not right here with the question/request---""unplugging the 230 volt charger"????--I don't know of a 230 volt charger---unless this is in Europe---a 120 volt charger---in USA-- but I'll try this---a LED light does not use enough electricity to discharge a battery over night--- do you have another function on this unit such as a compressor or lights--something that maybe on???---another thought is that the battery has failed causing this malfunction----has this been wet/underwater---a malfunction with a diode in the electronics may cause the charger to try and charge the battery via ac and cook the battery as well as the circuit board---this is a real issue here---I'm not getting enough info to give an intelligent answer---i need to know if anything has happen what has happened before and up to this point when this issue started---I don't know what happens if when using these units if you connect to (jump start) battery with reverse polarity--if it bows a fuse or cooks the unit---sorry I can't be more helpful
