Do not buy anything from LCDPayless. They are crooks. I order power supply for Protron 32". Their web page showed the same model as mine and they sent me some garbage that was not working. I returned it and they refused to reimburse me full amount. I contacted my credit card company and then they claimed they didn't receive it at all. STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY ARE THIEVES.

Is it possible to change the audio format in the Uverse box? Can you try a mp3 file from USB stick or movie from youtube (Smarttv) on the television and check for sound? Then you know that sound amplifier in the television is ok.

since i do my stuff by trial and error, sometimes its just a matter of making sure you dont have a video cord plugged into an audio plug that is supposed to be for the tv signal to go out and not come in or that where you have the left/right audio plug is good, but the video plug is broke.

i just move from one slot to the next trying different a/v (out) spots
