We have the same issue.Surfs village is stuck at the orange beeline starup screen.We've restarted our ipad2, and logged into different game center accounts, yet it is still frozen and won't get past the orange beeline screen.

I had the same issue after an update as well. I downloaded the latest IPAD software and once the IPAD software was updated the surfs game loaded properly. Good Luck

On the Village screen:1. press the Hammer button on bottom right corner. 2. The build menu will pop up. 3. There is a Camera icon at the top center edge. press it.4. Will bring you back to the main village, and now the camera icon is located in the bottom left corner. Press it.5. Viola!

I have the same problem. Only the upper-part of my village is left, and little roads are left. Everything else is gone. I am still in level 24. Gargamel appeared, and it was like all starting over again... I just have 5 smurfs left.

Dude I get the same thing it sometimes let's me get to the menu soon as I hit play it goes black and returns to the home screen I've recently reset my iPod and had the updates even the valentines one and still not working , let us know when you get a reply coz I am not wasting my time emailing them if their going to tell me me to start again lol

Did you play with the date settings of your device? If you did so, then Jockey, Smurfette, snails and caterpillars will not give you gifts/xp's until the very next day of the latest date you have set your device to be.

I have the fix to this problem. Open Smurf Village--> click options--->restart village---> Yes---> Yes, sure-->fast forward through all the talk to get to new village--> Plant garden--->plant crop (you will notice there are no smurfs and the crop will not be planted)--> harvet the crop to the north--> now back out of the village and back to the main screen---> Click play and there you are back at your old village with nothing missing. I have had to do this every other day since the last update. Current phone is HTC EVO 4G

It was bugging me too! You have to wait for the sign to collect your coins and xp from the timber. Next you'll have to put rocks by the mine and will have to wait for the same thing. I have to wait another 22 hours!

Did you figured it out? If so, how? Im having a hard time with this as well..

Did you install the update from the app store that was pushed out today. I think it had bug fixes on it. Please launch your app store on your iDevice and update the app, that should cause the smurf house to reappear on smurf village. Thank you!
