The transfers on the front of my cooker have come off
I FOUND THIS ON ANOTHER SITE, BUT HAVE NOT YET TRIED IT.
Had the same problem - you can't buy transfers from the oven maker but you can make your own - I bought laser Water Transfer decal paper (£13 for 10 sheets of A4 clear) - made up my dials in powerpoint (test print them for fit, layout etc on normal paper) then printed them on the decal paper and put them on the facia (ensure clean before application). A good start is to scan your instruction book (it has the original dials in it). Let them dry fully. Mine went on 8 months ago and still there (onto stainless steel). A little work and only a tenner in cost ... forget getting new facia that's probably what they want :)

Smeg main oven failure
This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
- Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Smeg manual.
- If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
- When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

SUK81MFX5 oven light stays on permantly
Can be the micro switch. With mine, the oven door was put back incorrectly and part of the hinge pushed the metal lever that activates the switch upward, and jammed it there. You need to get a bit of wire and hook it down again so that it covers the switch.
