Smartpool Pool & Spa - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

No, it can not be programmed. It is likely the impeller motor is failing and when it shuts off while the unit is climbing it will 'fall' off the wall. For a repair inspection you can take it or ship it to one of Maytronics’ service centers (we are the Midwest one). Try Maytronics direct at www.maytronicsus.com or use the dolphin service button along the bottom of our page at www.arrowpools.net.

See if the Dolphin ingested acorns or leaves which may be clogging the unit.

You will find it won't climb walls, but should clean just fine on the bottom area.

Best just use it to ***** and get the most out of it. For the transformer, you'll need to know the output required [volts and amps] and polarity. You should have no trouble finding a generic transformer to do the job
